Visit Famen Temple, which is located 120 kilometers west of Xi'an. It was first built in the Han Dynasty over 2000 years ago to enshrine the finger - bone relics of Sakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. Among the 19 Buddhist stupas in China, Famen Temple is one of them. "Famen" means the initial way for people to become Buddhist believers. It is reputed as the "ancestor of pagodas and temples in Guanzhong area".

Proceed to Qianling Mausoleum. It takes approximately one hour to drive from Famen Temple to Qianling. Qianling is the joint tomb of Emperor Gaozong, the third emperor of the Tang Dynasty, and his wife, Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history.
